Activity reservation conditions

1. RESERVATIONS AND CONFIRMATION

Activities can be booked through the Esports Elit website, by email, telephone, WhatsApp or in person at our store in Canillo.

All activities are subject to availability and the specific conditions of each modality.

The reservation will be confirmed once Esports Elit has validated availability and the corresponding payment has been made.

The client must provide the necessary data to organize the activity, including the number of participants, ages and technical level when necessary.

IMPORTANT – CONTACT WITH THE GUIDE

It is essential that the client contact the guide, by WhatsApp or telephone, at the latest the day before the activity, before 7:00 p.m. , to confirm its implementation based on availability and weather conditions, and to specify and agree on:

• The time of the activity.
• The meeting point.
• The route or itinerary to be taken.
• The necessary material.

This prior contact is necessary to be able to adapt the activity to the conditions at the time and provide the participant with all the necessary information before departure.

2. GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations requested by the customer will be handled according to the following conditions:

Less than 24 hours before	No refund

Cancellations must be communicated to Esports Elit by email or through another channel that allows the request to be recorded.

Cancellations due to weather conditions are governed by the specific conditions of each activity.

3. SPECIFIC CONDITIONS PER ACTIVITY

3.1. VIA FERRADAS

Via ferratas are mountain activities that require appropriate weather and safety conditions.

Cancellations due to weather

In the event of very unfavorable weather conditions that prevent the activity from being carried out safely, Esports Elit may cancel or postpone the departure.

Special consideration will be given to situations of electrical storms, heavy rainfall, strong winds or other circumstances that may compromise the safety of participants.

The presence of clouds, low temperatures or light rain does not automatically lead to the cancellation of the activity.

The final decision will be up to the responsible guide.

In the event of cancellation by Esports Elit for weather or safety reasons, a change of date will be offered, subject to availability, or a 100% refund of the activity not carried out.

Conditions of participation

Participants must have a physical condition appropriate to the level of difficulty of the contracted via ferrata.

Esports Elit will provide the technical material necessary for the activity, according to the conditions of the contracted product.

The guide may modify the itinerary or interrupt the activity if circumstances require it for safety reasons.

3.2. GUIDED BIKE AND E-BIKE EXCURSIONS

Guided bicycle excursions take place along paths, forest tracks and mountain itineraries.

Cancellations due to weather

The activities will be carried out whenever weather and terrain conditions allow them to be carried out safely.

In the event of very unfavorable weather, such as electrical storms, heavy rainfall or other situations that compromise safety, Esports Elit may cancel or postpone the activity.

Light rain, cloudy skies or low temperatures do not, in themselves, constitute reasons for cancellation.

The final decision will be up to the responsible guide.

In the event of cancellation by Esports Elit for weather or safety reasons, a change of date will be offered, subject to availability, or a 100% refund of the activity not carried out.

Conditions of participation

Participants must know how to ride a bicycle and have the appropriate technical and physical level for the contracted itinerary.

The guide will be able to adapt the route according to the level of the group and the terrain conditions.

3.3. GUIDED SNOWSHOE EXCURSIONS

Snowshoe excursions are winter mountain activities that take place in a natural environment subject to weather changes.

Cancellations due to weather

The excursions will take place whenever weather conditions, snow conditions and safety conditions permit.

Cold, moderate snowfall or cloudy skies are part of the usual winter mountain conditions and do not automatically imply the cancellation of the activity.

In the event of very unfavorable weather conditions, risk of avalanches incompatible with the planned itinerary or other circumstances that compromise safety, Esports Elit may modify, postpone or cancel the activity.

The final decision will be up to the responsible guide.

In the event of cancellation by Esports Elit for weather or safety reasons, a change of date will be offered, subject to availability, or a 100% refund of the activity not carried out.

Conditions of participation

Participants must wear clothing and footwear suitable for winter mountain conditions.

The guide will be able to adapt the itinerary according to snow conditions, weather and the characteristics of the group.

3.4. MOUNTAIN SKIING (SKIMO) AND TELEMARK

Ski mountaineering is an activity that takes place in a natural winter environment and requires adequate snow, weather and safety conditions.

Cancellations due to weather

The outings will take place whenever conditions allow the activity to be carried out safely.

Low temperatures, moderate snowfall or occasional lack of visibility do not necessarily lead to the cancellation of the activity.

In the event of very unfavorable weather conditions, risk of avalanches incompatible with the planned itinerary or other circumstances that compromise safety, Esports Elit may modify, postpone or cancel the departure.

The final decision will be made by the responsible guide, taking into account the conditions of the mountain, the level of the participants and the planned itinerary.

In the event of cancellation by Esports Elit for weather or safety reasons, a change of date will be offered, subject to availability, or a 100% refund of the activity not carried out.

Conditions of participation

Participants must have the appropriate level of skiing and physical condition for the contracted activity.

The necessary technical and safety equipment will be determined according to the characteristics of each outing.

3.5. HIKING AND TREKKING

Hiking and trekking excursions take place in a natural mountain environment and are subject to weather and terrain conditions.

Cancellations due to weather

The activities will be carried out whenever conditions allow them to be carried out safely.

Light rain, cloudy skies or low temperatures do not automatically lead to the cancellation of the activity.

In the event of very unfavorable weather conditions or other circumstances that compromise safety, Esports Elit may modify the itinerary, postpone or cancel the departure.

4. COMMON CONDITIONS FOR ALL ACTIVITIES

4.1. Schedules and punctuality

Participants must arrive at the meeting point at the agreed time.

Delays exceeding 20 minutes may result in the loss of the activity when they prevent the normal development of the departure.

4.2. Security

Participants must respect the guide’s instructions throughout the activity.

Esports Elit may modify the itinerary or interrupt the activity when safety conditions require it.

4.3. Insurance

Participants must have individual accident insurance suitable for the contracted activity.

Esports Elit offers the possibility of taking out individual one-day accident insurance, at a cost of €5 per person , with the following coverage:

Repatriation expenses in the event of an accident	€3,000

This insurance is optional for participants who already have their own insurance with adequate coverage for the contracted activity.

Insurance coverage and benefits are subject to the general and specific conditions of the policy taken out.
