Telemark is a free-heel skiing technique. It originated in southern Norway, in the Telemark region around 1820. It was a Norwegian, Sondré Nordheim, who invented this form of skiing, which was lost at the beginning of the 20th century with the arrival of alpine skiing.
Previously, this type of material was used to move around, around the years 1960-1970, the telemark skiing technique reappeared in its recreational aspect, and is resurfacing again due to its freedom of movement, its technical difficulty and the sensations it provides.
